Jaison Francis has over 15 years' experience in senior management roles with private equity-backed, oil services companies. He was a key player in the successful management buy-out of Kvasir International, later re-branded as IRM Offshore Services of which he is currently Managing Director. Jaison is a qualified Management professional with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Jaison started his career as a Salesman, employed by Mannai Corporation in Doha, Qatar, where, over a 5-year period, he worked in the office automation division, developing his selling techniques and implementing a number of ideas which brought greater success to the organization.
On leaving Mannai, Jaison joined an Oil & Gas services company ― Aquatic Engineering & Construction Ltd ― securing a number of major manning contracts with Qatar-based operators such as Maersk and OXY.
During this period, Jaison was offered a role with Kvasir International, managing their operations in the Middle East. Whilst undertaking this role, he saw the opportunity to establish a specialist consultancy business providing comprehensive Personnel Management services across the whole Oil and Gas sector, and established IRM Offshore Services with his mentor John Chesterfield Barber.
IRM was inaugurated in October 2009, and as Operations Director, Jaison has used his previous experiences to grow the company rapidly into a leading provider of Engineering & Technical Support and Business Continuity services to the Oil and Gas Sector, and other prominent Sectors including Shipping, Supply chain and Competency training services.
Over the last five years, IRM has grown under Jaison’s leadership to employ 250 staff and six associates, operating in countries from Qatar, Oman, U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, UK and Germany.
